На GDC 2019 Epic Games объявила, что The Outer Worlds и Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey на PC сначала выйдут в Epic Games Store. За издание обеих отвечает Private Division, подразделение Take-Two Interactive.
Разработчики уточнили, что в день релиза The Outer Worlds можно будет купить не только в EGS, но и в Microsoft Windows 10 Store, а Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey — только в EGS. Через год после выхода оба тайтла должны появиться в Steam.
Our partners at @EpicGames have announced that #TheOuterWorlds will be coming to the Epic Games Store at launch, alongside the Windows Store. It will be released on other digital platforms 12 months later.
The Outer Worlds will still release on XBOX and PS4 on launch.
